Ta-da! The safari dress is bleached and dyed and dry!
I used RIT "Purple" liquid dye for 2 lbs. of fabric on this for one hour, and I'm really liking it. I'm liking it so much I'm going to dance around and use corn as maracas while wearing it!!

for a second i thought you meant the corn was thrifted.
there is a thrift store out in Burbank that gets items from Universal Studios' wardrobe department. You would love it.
